The Council of Tenerife has put on public display the second phase of the project to improve the TF-213 sanitation network, in The Victory of Acentejo, which has a budget of 1,806,797 euros. This is a preliminary step before its final approval that will allow the bidding process for the works to begin.
The island councilor for Municipal Cooperation and Housing, Zebenzui Chinea, indicates that this action will solve the historical deficiencies of the area in terms of sanitation, rainwater and irrigation, improving the quality of life and the well-being of the residents of the municipality. It is one of the works collected in the Municipal Cooperation Plan 2018-2021“with which from the Cabildo we seek to lend to all the municipalities of the island the necessary resources to carry out priority works for the well-being of citizens”.
In this same sense, the mayor of La Victoria, Juan Antonio Garcia Abreuemphasizes that it is “of a key performance from the point of view of sanitation and environmental sustainability, but also from the point of view of accessibility and access to new services”.
The works will make it possible to improve the layout of the TF-213, its margins and the different networks of associated facilities, between kilometer point 0.810 and 1.340allowing the neighbors to have a road and some first class services.
The projected sanitation network consists of a main collector near the axis of the road, with connection wells every 20 meters, approximately, given the characteristics and slopes of the road grade. It will also include a discharge pipeline that will carry the water from the lowest point of the action (at the meeting point of the road with Barranco Hondo). to the regional WWTP.
On the other hand, the supply network will be completely replaced and theas low voltage networks, public lighting and telecommunicationsalthough the existing underground medium voltage network will be preserved.
With regard to rainwater, the island councilor recalls that the ravines Barranquera Los Bajo and Barranco Hondo they cross the TF-213, “so the rainwater network will collect the urban runoff waters and will discharge them both”.
The project also includes improving the sanitation of the street sing souls and the environmental and landscape integration of the TF-213.
