SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –

A 61-year-old man is in critical condition after being recovered this Sunday morning from a cardiorespiratory arrest he suffered at a venue on Avenida de Los Playeros in the municipality of Arona (Tenerife).

According to the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 112, a person who identified himself as a doctor at the scene verified that the affected person was in cardiorespiratory arrest and began to perform resuscitation maneuvers.

Once the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) arrived in the area, they continued to practice basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, applied several shocks with the defibrillator and managed to recover their pulse.

For his part, once stabilized, the man was transferred in critical condition in a medicalized ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.

Finally, agents of the National Police collaborated in the device deployed at the scene of the incident.
