Tegueste will celebrate tomorrow the procession of San Marcos towards La Placeta, where the exhibition of carts and cars will take place, in addition to the performance of various folk groups. The parade will take place after a Eucharist that will begin at 12:00. These initiatives replace the pilgrimage, which was not possible to organize because the City Council found itself running out of time after months without being sure that the appointment could take place.
The events will continue next week. On Friday the 29th, the performance of the Agrupación de San Marcos Evangelista music band is scheduled at 8:00 p.m. and the beginning of the verbena from 10:00 p.m., with the Malibú and Cadets orchestras. Likewise, the Villa will have a performance by Los Muchachos, Guaydil, Acapulco and Dorada Band during the Magicians’ Dance, scheduled for Saturday, April 30, starting at 10:00 p.m. Specifically, the popular festival and the magicians’ dance will have a capacity of 5,000 people.
