The head of the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 5 of La Orotava (Tenerife), Nicole Centanaro Aguadohas been elected an elected member of the governing chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands (TSJC), the TSJC reported this Friday.
The election took place last night in a vote in which 86 judges and magistrates from the islands participated, of which 66 gave their vote to the candidate of the Francisco de Vitoria Judicial Association, Nicole Alejandra Centanaro Aguado.
The other 22 votes went to the candidate for Judges for Democracy, Arabia Díaz Carreras, head of the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 3 of Granadilla de Abona (Tenerife).
The vote was held after the call made by the permanent commission of the General Council of the Judiciary for partial elections to the governing body of the judges on the islands (agreement 4233 of the General Council of the Judiciary, BOE 65 of March 17, 2022) .
The table also proclaimed Tatiana Sanguino Bello, the titular judge of the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 1 of Icod de los Vinos (Tenerife), as a substitute elected member of the government chamber, who obtained 66 votes.
Nicole Alejandra Centanaro Aguado graduated in Law as a member of the 2010-2014 class of the University of La Laguna (ULL), and in the oppositions to the judicial and prosecutorial career, she achieved the highest score in Spain.
In May of last year, she deserved a congratulations from the TSJC government chamber for her work at the head of the Court of First Instance and Instruction No. 2 of Granadilla de Abona and for the boastful “exhaustive report” that she prepared on the occasion of his dismissal from that body.
