SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 21 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Roads area, has put on public display the project for the rehabilitation of the TF-13 island roads, between kilometer points 13 and its end, and of the TF-16 between kilometers 0 and 7, in the municipalities of La Laguna and Tacoronte, at a cost of 3.2 million.
The first vice president and councilor for Highways, Enrique Arriaga, explains in a note that the project contemplates not only the superficial rehabilitation of the pavement with the resurfacing of the current platform, but also the expansion of the shoulders, as well as the improvement of the bus stops and placement of railings for pedestrian safety against the risk of falls at different levels.
In addition, the work contemplates the improvement in the surface drainage elements, horizontal signaling and increase the containment systems.
For his part, the insular director of Highways, Tomás Félix García, points out that the estimated term of execution of the works will be around eight months.
These roads have deteriorated pavement as a result of the passing of the years, with sinkholes and potholes that make driving difficult on these roads that are used daily by thousands of drivers.
