The Department of Public Services, led by Carlos Tarife, has approved two projects, for more than 508,000 euros, to proceed with the perimeter fencing of two public parks in the capital with the aim of minimizing acts of vandalism, by being able to close them at night.
The first of these projects affects the La Estrella park, in Santa María del Mar, in which one of the indicative signs has been destroyed these days. The budget to proceed with the fencing is 372,646 euros and the execution period is three months.
The second of the parks is Manuel Castañeda, located in the Azorín neighborhood, an enclosure that the neighbors have long demanded. In this case, the fence will cost 135,619 euros, with an execution period of three months.
