Batet visits La Palma this Friday and tours the areas affected by the volcano

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 21 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The president of the Congress of Deputies, Meritxell Batet, continues her official visit to the Canary Islands this Friday with a trip to La Palma to visit the areas affected by the volcanic eruption in Cumbre Vieja.

In addition, he will meet with the Government delegate in the Canary Islands, Anselmo Pestana, the president of the Cabildo de La Palma, Mariano Hernández Zapata and the mayors of the affected municipalities, Los Llanos de Aridane, Tazacorte and El Paso.

This Thursday the president will visit the Parliament of the Canary Islands to preside over an institutional plenary session on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the approval of the Statute of Autonomy and the constitution of the regional Chamber.
