SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 20 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the area of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, has published a call for grants to municipalities on the island to hold municipal craft fairs.
The allocated budget will be 40,000 euros, which can be increased with a maximum of 25,000 additional euros depending on the availability of credit.
The counselor Carmen Luz Baso explains in a note that these grants are intended to encourage and promote the marketing of local crafts.
“These grants are one of the many initiatives that we are promoting from the Cabildo to value crafts and bring them closer to the population,” he highlights.
The deadline for submitting applications will be open until May 18 and will be done through the electronic headquarters of the Cabildo de Tenerife in the ‘Procedures and Services’ section.
This initiative will allocate a subsidy of a maximum of 10,000 euros per municipality, of which the consistories may allocate up to 4,000 euros to pay for infrastructure, up to 5,600 euros for advertising and stationery, and 400 euros for security.
To qualify for aid, the event must meet a series of requirements.
Regarding the program, the fair must be organized independently, in a delimited space and will have a minimum duration of one day, accounting for six hours per day.
To access the rest of the requirements, you can consult the bases of the call, which are available on the website of the Cabildo de Tenerife.
In the same way, in these bases you will be able to find the term to present the subsequent supporting documentation of the subsidies depending on the dates on which the fair is held.
