Since 1936, Taoro Lyceum Societywith the support of the Municipality of La Orotavaorganizes the traditional pilgrimage in honor of San Isidro Labrador and Santa María de la Cabeza. Given the high number of participants that normally attend this celebration, and in order for the event to take place with the best possible quality and guaranteeing safety for all, as well as the protection of animals, the organization invites to consult the regulatory regulation.

Starting this Monday, April 18 and until Monday, May 16 The deadline for submitting the inscriptions for the carts and carts to participate in this pilgrimage, which takes place on Sunday June 26, will be open. In this first week those who are residents in the municipality of La Orotava will register. During the development of the pilgrimage, the cart must be completely level, with the weight shared on each side, in order to avoid suffering to the teams and accidents. The teams will be assigned to the carts according to the size and weight, both of the teams, and of the carts and cars. A fire extinguisher must be available and placed in an easily accessible place. With regard to the braziers, they will be placed in the back, in an area free of decoration and away from any flammable material to avoid fires, in addition to the use of firewood being prohibited and only charcoal is allowed.
