The company committee of Samyl, concessionaire of the cleaning service of the Hospital de La Candelaria, in Tenerife, announced this Wednesday that it is calling off the planned indefinite strike.
The agreement includes the implementation of a new work organization system with monthly quadrants; the elaboration of the Initial Evaluation of Labor Risks and Planning of the Preventive Activity; the conversion of 11 temporary workers into permanent ones and the signing of new contracts; a minimum number of people who can be subcontracted is set and five people will be hired to alleviate work overload.
In addition, starting next week, a study will be carried out on the workloads and rhythms of work by the occupational risk prevention technicians to determine if new hires need to be undertaken.
