Tenerife invests almost three million in the rehabilitation of roads in the north

The Roads area of the Cabildo de Tenerife releases to public information the surface rehabilitation project of the surface of the island roads TF-366 and TF-373 in the municipalities of Icod de Los Vinos, Garachico and El Tanque for an amount of almost three million of euros.

The Island Councilor for Roads, Enrique Arriaga, points out in a note that this action reaffirms the Cabildo’s commitment to substantially improve the state of the more than 1,500 kilometers of roads that make up the island’s road network on the island and adds that “in some Of them, it had been decades since there had been any decisive intervention”.

The insular director of Roads, Tomás Félix García, details that “the projected action contemplates the superficial rehabilitation of the pavement, the installation of safety barrier systems, as well as the improvement of vertical and horizontal signaling”.

The action will be carried out on the TF-366 between kilometer points 0 and 3,300, while on the TF-373 road the intervention will comprise between kilometer 5,800 and 11 and the execution period once the works begin will be five months.
