The City Council of Granadilla de Abona, through the Department of Transport and Mobility, informs that the authorized area for camping and motorhome parking is the Montaña Roja campsite, where this type of alternative tourism will be allowed this Easter .
The Councilor for Transport, Fredi Oramas, explains that the site known as La Inglesa, in El Médano, cannot be used for this type of tourist practice and that this point, located in El Cabezo, should only be used for traditional vehicle parking. .
The mayor adds that this plot, in addition, is affected by the demarcation of the Law of Coasts. The City Council has already sought other alternatives in this regard, with actions that will be carried out in Pelada and Los Abrigos so that they can be operational as soon as possible, with all the guarantees in a regulated and orderly manner, apart from having maintained contact with owners of private plots. who are interested in adapting some regulated motorhome parking.
