The Supreme ratifies the end of the Ansina program

The Supreme Court has ratified the action of the Cabildo de Tenerife with the completion of the ansina programaccording to the sentence issued by which dismisses the appeal filed by the Ideco works council against the judgment of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands that already last year he agreed with the Island Corporation in this process.

The Cabildo de Tenerife has reported in a press release that this issue had been prosecuted despite the fact that the company representatives and union representatives they had closed an agreement that was ratified by the works council itself.

The agreement, which included the payment of 45 days per year worked and the inclusion of personnel on a list for future hiring if necessary, was appealed by part of the workers’ representation.

The Supreme Court now ratifies the decision taken not to extend a program that had ended and that required the start of a new assignment, just as the TSJC did a year ago. This sentence ratifies that the decision was made correctly and respecting the law, as well as labor rights, they point out from the Cabildo.
