SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 11 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Science and Technology Park, has started the development of the Aptenisa program on the Island, a national initiative that includes a set of programs designed to promote the creation and growth of new technology-based companies and carried out together with the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) and the National Innovation Company (ENISA).
These programs are intended to help entrepreneurs from the initial idea to the acceleration phase, validation of the business model and constitution. In other words, a team of experienced park managers, entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, advisors and managers supports the founders in the development of their products, services and business models, growth and investment.
The island councilor for Innovation, Enrique Arriaga, explained that this program “is fundamental for the promotion and creation of new technology-based companies in Tenerife and, furthermore, it fulfills one of the fundamental objectives of PCTT, helping to diversify the island’s economy by developing culture of innovation and promoting the creation of new companies with the promotion of entrepreneurship and the creation of emerging companies”.
The PCTT has begun brainstorming for the Aptenisa Start program, which focuses on the most embryonic stage of new business creation with APTE’s Pre-Accelerator program. It is aimed at scientists, teachers, students or entrepreneurs.
The objective of this program is to validate teams and commercial ideas, promote the creation of technological startups, find a unique and scalable business model that allows entrepreneurs to build a company with much less money and time than with traditional methods. It is a four-week program and eight sessions of two hours each.
Registration for this program is open until April 19 at the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScT8kvYg5tw-9czUPrW…
Aptenisa is integrated into the activities and programs carried out by the PCTT this year for the celebration of its 15th anniversary. This program is launched through ten science and technology parks, in 8 autonomous communities in Spain, the Basque Country, Catalonia, Andalusia, the Community of Madrid, Asturias, the Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands.
