The Council of Tenerifethrough the area of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, The third edition of ‘Tenerife Volcanic Fashion’ will be held from May 6 to 8 at the Tenerife Fairgrounds one of the most important events of the year for the island’s textile sector and in which the Tenerife Moda collective collaborates.
According to Minister Carmen Luz Baso, “the objective is to help promote and publicize the talent and professionalism of the companies that make up the fashion sector, as well as the different activities associated with it, contributing to the strengthening of a key industry for the diversification of the insular economy”.
At the same time, it indicates in a note, the improvement of professional qualification, modernization and competitiveness of the sector will be favored.
Carmen Luz Baso points out that as noveltythis year there will be the participation of companies from the beauty and personal image sector (comprehensive aesthetics, styling, hairdressing and hair aesthetics and consultancy) that will join other companies related to technology, art, training and design .
Companies in the sector interested in participating have until April 22 to contact the Tenerife Fairgrounds.
In total, a space of more than 8,000 square meters will be set up in which 90 stands belonging to more than 60 companies will be located for the marketing and promotion of products and services, as well as an area for exhibitions, networking, talks and other activities aimed at the revitalization of the event.
The fair will have three different exhibition spaces related to sustainable design in fashion, author crafts and the young women who have configured the ‘Merkarte’ project.
As in other years, ‘Tenerife Volcanic Fashion’ will once again have an open catwalk in which prestigious designers and participating companies that so wish can exhibit or present their new collections.
