Airam Dominguez in the men’s category and Ana Boullon in the female category they were the absolute winners of the “IX edition of the Landmar Santiago del Teide Solidarity Night Race” of 6.5 km that took place last Saturday, April 9, along the main roads of the coastal area.
The test that was organized by the City Council of Santiago del Teide with the special collaboration of the Landmar Costa Los Gigantes hotel was a resounding success with more than 300 registered between the 6.5 and 4.5 races and more than 150 children and girls in children’s races. The same, as in its previous editions, had a charitable character since the price of registration (€ 10) has gone entirely to the Department of Social Services to help the most needy families.
After Anthony Martin came in second place Sergio Perez while third place went to Davey Yanes. In the female category, the podium was as follows: in first place, Ana Boullonthe second place went to Africa Vidina Fernández while the third place went to Paula Sahelices.
As for the 4.5 km race in the men’s category, first place went to Joseph David Gonzalezsecond place to Anthony Maple while the third drawer of the podium went to Mauro Carballo. In the female category of 4.5 km the first place went to the local athlete, Dacil Hernandez, the second was for Angela Pinacho and third place went to Laura Grau.
Regarding the participation of local male runners in the 6.5 km race, the first place went to Emilio Jesus del Barriothe second place was occupied by Angel Christ Reveron while third place went to Victor Manuel Gonzalez. In the local women’s category, first place went to Guada Arnedosecond place went to Janet Garcia and the third place was occupied by Patricia Hernández.
In the 4.5 km race, the local winners in the men’s category were John Joseph Argandahe followed Jorge Diaz Hernandez and Izan Diaz Perez. In the female category the winners were Dacil Hernandezfinished second Rose Mary William and finished third Sandra Lugo.
