The Municipal Operational Coordination Center (CECOPAL) of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has proceeded, this Monday, to the preventive closure of access to the viewpoint of the Rock of the Cellarsin Anaga, given the probability of worsening sea conditions, as reported on its official Twitter account.

It should be remembered that the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) in the Canary Islands has activated the yellow warning (risk) due to coastal phenomena, with a combined sea of 4 meters from the northwest, in the north and the metropolitan area of Tenerife, El Hierro and the west of La Palma, with a probability of between 40 and 70%.
Weather forecast for Tuesday
The Aemet forecast for tomorrow, Tuesday, indicates a predominance of cloudy skies with the opening of wide clearings in the afternoon on the islands of greater relief, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
In the rest of the areas, slightly cloudy with intervals of evolution in the afternoon, and a low probability of weak, occasional and scattered rains in the northern midlands of the islands with greater relief in the early and late hours.
The temperatures will suffer few changes in general, except for a slight increase in the minimum values in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, and the wind will be from the north. In the central peaks of Tenerife, strong west decreasing to moderate northwest.
