The directive of the Murga La Traviata says goodbye to his performances on the Carnival stages. After 17 years of experience, its president, Juan Francisco Diaz Castilloalready communicated last Friday, April 8, to the components of the group “in tears” that with the arrival of the pandemic “I realized that I had forgotten the most important ones, who were my wife, my daughter and my grandson, I have stolen time from them to dedicate myself body and soul to this murga”.
“The murga La Traviata ends its journey in the Carnival“, assures Díaz, who through a statement issued this Saturday thanks the involvement of both the components and the fans, going through the press -“the one that has written well and the one that has not so much”-, among others.
“It was a hard moment, but perhaps a death foretold, since the Murga La Traviata He came with pathologies, he had not been vaccinated from that happy bug and on top of that it came with all the variants”, he adds.
The director of the murguera group, Josechu Alvarez, also wanted to thank: “I write this text to thank all those who dedicated their time to listening to the murga La Traviata. It was exciting to prepare a repertoire for you, knowing that there were detractors and supporters of our style, but for color tastes. I couldn’t explain the sensations I’ve experienced these 12 years at the head of the murga. It ends here, with La Traviata, our time together”.
