SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 9 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, in collaboration with the City Council of El Sauzal, has launched a plan to train and hire 23 unemployed people.
In a statement, the Island Corporation explained that it will contribute 251,858 euros that will be complemented by a municipal investment of 58,488 euros with the aim of encouraging job placement.
The plan, which bears the name El Sauzal, in the transformation towards a sustainable future, includes contracts for a period of six months in jobs related to primary care, the urban agenda, the improvement of agricultural roads and support for the cultural sector and patrimonial.
Previously, the participants will attend different face-to-face courses. The training will have a total of 120 hours that will prepare them both for the performance of their specific tasks and for transversal skills.
Specifically, 15 people will be hired for pawn positions and first and second class officers; and another eight to fill qualified jobs, among which are professionals in history, psychology and architecture, in addition to five home help assistants.
