The second section of the Provincial Court of Tenerife has sentenced a man to more than 40 years in prison for practicing cyber sexual harassment -grooming- to five minors and a young woman of legal age. The man, who is in pretrial detention, used his job at a Candelaria telecommunications company to access customer SIM cards and from there, without leaving a trace and maintaining anonymity, he contacted the victims through WhatsApp.

The five minors live in Malaga, Seville, Martorell and Móstoles and the oldest in Badajoz. The sentence, made public yesterday, states that the events occurred between May and August 2020 when the man began to contact the affected women and after convincing them that he had access to the intimate images of their mobile terminals, he forced them to undress and masturbate.
