A helicopter from the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands rescued a French man who felt unwell while hiking in the Teide National Park this Saturday afternoon.
According to the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, the man presented general malaise when he was in Las Cañadas.
He was evacuated to the Parador area, where personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted him before transferring him to a health center.
