An Urban Planning proposal from the City Council of La Laguna urges Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, mayor of La Laguna, to “demolish/remove” two minor works carried out in his home, specifically a pergola and the enclosure of a balcony.

In order to comply with the law, Gutiérrez, according to this proposal, may regularize other works carried out on his property, but, in the case of the aforementioned, they must be withdrawn.

Sources consulted by DIARIO DE AVISOS assure that, since it is a proposal, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez and his partner, owners of the house, can show their agreement, reestablishing the legal order by demolishing or removing what is not legalizable.

The same sources indicate that Luis Yeray Gutiérrez asked Urban Planning to inspect and tell him how they had to act to regularize the situation, leaving out of that possibility the removable pergola and the balcony enclosure.
