The General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has decreed the alert for winds on the islands of Tenerife, El Hierro, La Palma, La Gomera and Gran Canaria starting at dawn this Sunday.
Thus, strong winds are expected from the west and southwest, with an average speed of between 30 and 50 kilometers per hour, with stronger intervals in high areas and summits and the probability that the maximum gusts will reach and exceed 80 or 90 km / h.
