SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 31. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A 40-year-old paraglider has been seriously injured after suffering a fall in Güímar, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center.
The events occurred this Wednesday afternoon at Paseo Las Palmeras in the aforementioned municipality, a place to which the staff of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) moved, who upon arriving in the area verified that the affected person had polytraumatisms of a character serious, for which he was transferred to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria.
Agents from the Local Police and the Civil Guard also appeared at the scene of the incident, collaborating with the health emergency service and securing the area.
