A 63-year-old woman dies after being hit by a vehicle in Tenerife

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 30. (EUROPE PRESS) –

A 63-year-old woman died this Wednesday after being hit by a vehicle on Reyes Católicos Avenue, in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center.

At around 8:42 p.m., the emergency services received a call informing them that a person had been run over and required medical assistance.

The 1-1-2 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and, upon arriving at the scene of the event, the SUC staff could only confirm the death of the woman due to the seriousness of the injuries she presented.

The Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife regulated traffic on the road and made the corresponding report.
