The Public Services area proceeded yesterday to cut down a tree on 25 de Julio Avenue due to the risk of falling. Apparently, the last wind storm seriously affected the stability of the specimen, making it impossible to maintain it. “According to the technicians, the last windstorm moved it and turned it towards a house, with the risk of it falling at any time, that is why we have been forced to cut it down,” explained Mayor Carlos Tarife.
The neighbors had complained precisely about the lack of pruning of these trees on the avenue, whose tops were even affecting the houses, as some of their branches entered through the closest windows. According to the mayor of Public Services, these specimens will be pruned soon.
