a direct bus between Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Puerto de la Cruz

Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife (Titsa), a company of the Cabildo de Tenerife, launches, starting tomorrow, Monday, March 28, a new direct line between Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Puerto de la Cruz.

The Minister of Mobility and president of Titsa, Enrique Arriaga, points out that this new service is one more commitment of the Cabildo to promote mobility in public transport for the island’s inhabitants and visitors, with the aim of contributing to decongesting the traffic of the Autopista del Norte (TF-5), this route will operate on weekdays with three exits in each direction.

For his part, the island director of Mobility, José Alberto León, explains that line 100 thus joins the rest of the services that connect the capital with the tourist city, especially to respond to the demands of workers and tourists who required a more fast in certain time slots.

The new route 100 will provide services only on working days and will have departures from Puerto de la Cruz at 7:15, 10:15 and 15:15. From Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the buses will depart at 9:15, 11:15 and 16:15 hours.

The route of the new service will be more direct and with fewer stops than other lines, linking the Puerto de la Cruz Station – El Risco – Tucán – La Paz – Botanical Garden – Meridiano Shopping Center – Santa Cruz de Tenerife interchange. In the opposite direction, the route will be the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Interchange – Botanical Garden – La Paz – Toucan – El Risco – Puerto de la Cruz Station.

The new line 100 thus joins other services that connect the capital with Puerto de la Cruz: 102 (Interchanger of Santa Cruz de Tenerife – Puerto de la Cruz through Las Arenas), 103 (Interchanger of Santa Cruz de Tenerife – Puerto de la Cruz by El Botánico) and 104 (Interchanger of Santa Cruz de Tenerife – Puerto de la Cruz) at night.
