Its mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, has announced that, once the Governing Council authorizes this Thursday the end of the restrictions due to Covid-19, the town hall is put “in preparation mode” to recover the most important party on the Island after a year of hiatus due to the pandemic.
José Manuel Bermúdez, in statements to the media, has detailed that in June there will be galas, competitions and a street festival that will be held for at least one weekend.
Bermúdez has indicated that the decision to transfer this party in june “It seems right”, although celebrating it during this month is “more complex and entails more difficulties” for suppliers, who have more work.
For this reason, “at least” the street festival will last a weekend, the mayor has added, who has opined that the end of the restrictions is “great news”.
