SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 21. (EUROPE PRESS) –
Starting this Tuesday and for three days, the Parliament of the Canary Islands hosts the second ‘Debate on the State of Nationality’ of the Legislature – the first was suspended due to the state of alarm – and with full capacity due to the removal of health restrictions .
The president, Ángel Víctor Torres, will open the session at 11:30 a.m. with a speech for a maximum time of two hours and at a time when the evolution of the pandemic, the rise in prices and the political tension around Western Sahara mark the management of its Executive.
In the afternoon, starting at 4:00 p.m., it will be the turn of the opposition groups.
Thus, the Nationalist Group will begin followed by the Popular and the Mixed, which will divide the time between Vidina Espino and the Cs deputy, Ricardo Fernández.
On Wednesday, from 09:00 am, the quadripartite groups -ASG, NC, Sí Podemos and PSOE- will intervene and on Thursday the debate on the resolution proposals will be held with 30 minutes of intervention per group.
The president of the Chamber, Gustavo Matos, has insisted these days that the political, social and economic current events give special importance to the Debate, which will be “intense” and with an “enormous political burden.”
