They robbed him up to 3 times in an avocado farm in Güímar: he plans to leave
The Italian has suffered robberies in her avocado farm in Güímar

An Italian couple, who two years ago bought an avocado farm in Güímaris very close to throwing in the towel and leaving the municipality, being the object of three robberies of almost a ton of this fruit in less than a year -the last one, this month- and because of the obstacles that the town hall to obtain a license that they promised him in February 2021 and that every time they ask about it, “they ask us for more documentation, even what kind of trees we plant,” he says angela cavagnathe owner of the estate ‘El Conde de Güímar’.

Angela came to Tenerife 10 years ago. At the end of 2020 she decides to buy in Los Zarzales, near the San Juan neighborhood, in Güímarseveral agricultural plots to formalize an avocado farm in Güímar of more than a thousand square meters, in addition to acquiring ten shares of water, investing almost 300,000 euros, with new plantations (300 avocado trees), Hercules fences and erection of walls, for which they had requested a license, which to this day they continue without obtaining.

The owner insists that “we register the farm before a notary, cadastre, registry and with a report from an agricultural engineer we carry out the plantations, together with avocado growers who are 60 or 70 years old.” He adds that “in January 2021 they told us that the license would take 15 days, but after raising fallen walls and fencing off the farm, in May the Police came to stop the work, until today, which none of the mayors has wanted to answer, while that the Urbanism technician, every time we give him documentation, asks for another one. We no longer know what to do”, regretting that “Airam Puerta says that he does not remember the file”, while the current mayor, Gustavo Pérez, affirms that “Urban Planning is handling this matter”.

They also do not understand that after the first robbery, in October 2021, in which “we caught the two thieves red-handed”, the Civil Guard did nothing. “We have no proof, but it is almost certain that those who stole again for the second and third time are the same ones”, pointing out that “in addition they took 100 meters of Hercules fence, a plow motor and machinery. We are already fed up with Güímar”, sentenced Cavagna.

From being an actress and Playboy cover to having an avocado farm in Güímar

Shortly after a successful career as an actress and dancer on television in Italy and Spain, even with covers in Playboy, the mediatic Angela Cavagna (Genoa, 1966) retired from the “showbiz” on the island of Tenerife, residing in Granadilla for a long time. about ten years. In 2015 she got married in Adeje with the businessman, also Italian, Paolo Solimano, with whom she started setting up a farm in Güímar two years ago that never ceases to give them headaches.
