The PSOE of Tenerife will celebrate this weekend its XVII Insular Congress to elect the new executive of the party on the island for the next four years.
The Hotel Mencey, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, will host on Saturday and Sunday the meeting to which Pedro Martín, president of the Cabildo de Tenerife, attends with his revalidated position as general secretary of the party on the island, the PSOE indicates this Friday.
The opening ceremony will take place at 10:30 am and will be attended by the general secretary of the PSOE in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Patricia Hernández; the organization secretary of the PSOE Canarias and regional deputy, Nira Fierro; and the MEP Juan Fernando López Aguilar.
After the interventions, the commissions will be constituted in which the amendments of the framework paper will be debated, and during the afternoon session the working commissions will follow one another.
The closing is scheduled for Sunday from 12:00 pm with the participation of the secretary general of the PSOE Canarias and president of the regional government, Ángel Víctor Torres; the deputy for Santa Cruz de Tenerife and spokesman for the Socialist Group in the Congress of Deputies, Héctor Gómez; in addition to the general secretary of the PSOE of Tenerife, Pedro Martín.
Before, the proclamation of candidacies and the election of the new executive of the PSOE of Tenerife for the next four years will take place.
