SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 17. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Government of the Canary Islands has authorized at the meeting of the Governing Council held this Thursday the expenditure derived from the Order of extension of the order to the Fundación Canaria de Juventud IDEO, which amounts to 10.9 million euros.
The purpose of this assignment is to carry out certain essential activities in the field of the execution of judicial measures, in accordance with Organic Law 5/2000, of January 12, regulating the criminal responsibility of minors.
Through this entrustment, the IDEO Youth Foundation, as its own personified medium and the technical service of the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community, is in charge of the management of the educational internment centers and resources, resources and coexistence centers for minors and young people who comply with a judicial measure by virtue of Organic Law 5/2000, of January 12, Regulating the Criminal Responsibility of Minors.
At present, a total of 886 minors are complying with a measure ordered by a judicial authority, 6 of them in a closed internment regime, 155 in a semi-open regime and the rest, 725 in an open regime (parole, therapeutic internment center, coexistence centers , benefits for the benefit of the community, etc.).
