The fire in a building in La Laguna leaves a woman affected and material damage



A 32-year-old woman has been slightly affected in the fire that originated in the electrical panel of the elevator on the top floor of a building in La Laguna (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 de Canary Islands.

The events occurred around 8:27 p.m. this Thursday in a building on Calle Los Custodios in the aforementioned municipality, a place to which members of the Tenerife Fire Department went to extinguish the fire and ventilate the stairwell affected by the smoke.

Subsequently, the staff of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) assisted the woman who presented mild smoke inhalation poisoning, for which she was transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.

Civil Protection officers and local police officers appeared at the scene of the incident and took charge of the corresponding proceedings.
