A man, convicted of gender violence, rapes his ex-partner at knifepoint in the Canary Islands

The man, convicted of gender violence, took advantage of the woman’s visit to a house in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in search of a friend to keep her in a room and, after threatening her with a knife, sexually assaulting her vaginally.

Once the events were completed, the woman managed to escape from the house and reported the events to the National Police, according to a summary collected by Europa Press.

The Prosecutor’s Office considers that the facts constitute a crime of sexual assault and also requests absolute disqualification and prohibition of approach and communication with the victim for ten years and compensation of 6,000 euros.
