Arrested at Tenerife South airport two young people wanted by justice

Agents of the National Police arrested two young people aged 23 and 29, of Romanian and Moldovan nationality, respectively, on March 14 at the South Tenerife airport, as they had different arrest warrants issued by the justice system.

The first of them was identified upon the arrival of a flight from Bucharest. After verifying that he had up to three arrest and presentation warrants in force for different crimes against property, issued by two courts in Madrid, the 23-year-old was arrested and transferred to police stations.

The second, a 29-year-old Moldovan citizen who was traveling on the same flight as the previous one, was identified by agents at the international flight arrivals control area.

After verifying that this man had an arrest warrant for extradition, issued by the US justice for a crime of fraud, he was arrested and, like the previous one, was transferred to the police station.

The detainees, together with the reports prepared for this purpose, were placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.

The actions were carried out by national police from the Border Post of the South Tenerife airport.
