The Municipality of Los Realejos celebrates ten years of strong support for business creation and self-employment in the locality through the call entrepreneur check. Since 2012, the northern consistory has invested more than half a million euros in financing the first steps of the business projects of more than 300 new self-employed. Starting today, and until next April 6a new period opens to request these direct municipal aids that range between 1,750 and 2,500 euros.
They will be able to opt for these grants for the implementation of new businesses in The Realejos the self-employed who have registered or have started their self-employment projects between March 1, 2020 and February 28, 2022. In general, this aid will be €1,750but that amount it rises to 2,500 euros in the cases of people over 40 years of age, long-term unemployed people, people with disabilities, victims of gender violencewomen with single-parent families, people in a situation of social exclusion or social economy entities.
East entrepreneur check it allows its beneficiaries to allocate it to a large amount of subsidy expenses, such as Social Security contributions for self-employment; the fees to the Social Security of the employees; the start-up expenses of the business project, such as notary fees, the registration fee in the commercial register; expenses for the acquisition or placement of billboard or business sign, or the costs of market research to create the company. In addition, the investment of this aid can be justified with the expenses of tax, accounting and labor advice, or of engineers or architects for drafting technical projects for the adaptation of the premises; insurance costs linked to the business project; investment in promotion and advertising; training expenses, for license to use computer applications, or purchase of consumable office supplies. It is also allowed to allocate entrepreneur check to investment in website and presence in networks, or the expenses of commercial premises lease.
The first deputy mayor and responsible for Employment and Local Development, Adolfo Gonzalez (PP)highlights that this new edition of the entrepreneur check will initially be endowed with €60,000 and, as was done last year, it will be processed under the direct aid modality, which encourages processing and payment of the amounts in an even more agile way than in previous years».
