Power outages, traffic light failures and closure of the coast, consequences of the Celia storm in Santa Cruz of Tenerife. The rain and wind that gave no respite to the island’s capital last Monday have had less intensity today in the municipality.

Of course, the storm continues to leave behind numerous incidents in the city. The most relevant according to the Local police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife through its social networks are the failures of the traffic lights that have been registered in various roads of the municipality.

Although municipal workers have repaired some of these breakdowns, they are still traffic lights not working at the intersections of Aveinda Venezuela with Avenida Islas Canarias; Maritime Avenue with Agenida San Sebastián; Imeldo Serís Street with Bravo Murillo Avenue and Anaga Avenue with José Martí Avenue.

To them are added the power outages in Anagaespecially in the Almáciga area, as well as problems in the telephone service as a result of the cables falling from the laying as a result of the intense wind.

In fact, the strong streaks caused some incidents last night in the city, among which the fall of a large tree on Belgium Avenue and small landslides on the Igueste road stand out.
