SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 14. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The National Police established last weekend different prevention devices in the leisure areas of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna, deploying Special Units of the Citizen Security Area such as the UIP or the UPR, and which were settled without incidents.
The devices, whose main objective is to prevent disturbances of order that could result in personal or material damage, were established mainly in the Plaza de España and the La Laguna quadrilateral, in those time slots with the greatest gathering of people.
Within the framework of the devices, the national police have identified 153 people, have carried out 13 acts of sanction proposals for possession or consumption of narcotic substances, 2 for violation of the Organic Law for the Protection of Citizen Security and have attended a service humanitarian in nature.
Tranquility has been the dominant trend in the leisure areas of both cities, in which absolute normality has reigned except for some isolated discussion that was resolved with police presence.
The actions have been carried out by national police officers from the Provincial Police Station of the National Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
