The departments of Tourism, Environment and Local Development of the City Council of Tegueste present the Guided Routes, Tourism and Environment 2022 program, which includes 39 itineraries that aim to publicize the landscape, archaeological, heritage and cultural value of the municipality and the Island of Tenerife.
Councilor Manuel Martín points out that the renewal of the guided tours program represents a commitment by the Consistory to position Tegueste as an active tourism destination, as well as to facilitate a leisure offer related to nature and outdoor sports. “Routes such as the one that runs through the municipality’s wineries or the one that delves into archaeological aspects of Tegueste will be part of the program that in the previous edition managed to bring together more than 1,500 participants throughout the year,” the Consistory said in a note.
The program of guided routes began on February 12 with a path in Santiago del Teide, where the participants were able to enjoy the almond blossoms that begin their flowering at this time. To participate in the routes scheduled between February and December of this year, those interested must register in advance by calling 922316102 or by email at [email protected], since places are limited.
The schedules, prices and other details of all the routes can be consulted at the Tourist Office, located in front of the Plaza de San Marcos or in the aforementioned mail. In addition, it will be reported on the social networks of the Consistory.
