Works begin to improve the water supply between El Pozo and El Jaral
The work, which began this week, will enable the implementation of two different pipes for each of the cores

The replacement of the water supply network between Jaral and The hole is one of the improvements planned in the roadmap of the City Council of Guia de Isora to modernize the supply network, through numerous improvement works proposed by Entemanserthe company awarded the service in the municipality and that will be executed under the investment plan of the contract.

These works, valued at €124,000, will benefit 80 homes that currently have difficulties receiving guaranteed water in times of increased consumption. According to the Municipal Services councilor from Isorano, Bruno Domínguez, “these are very necessary works and that are integrated into a municipal plan to allow gallery water to reach the upper area nuclei in the best conditions, as is the case of El Pozo and El Jaral”.

The works, which began this week, will enable the implementation of two different pipes for each of the cores, increasing the quality of supply and modulating the pressure through the installation of reducing valves.

“It is a very important work because the supply was being restricted due to the small diameter of the pipes and the numerous ruptures due to excess pressure. With this action, the network will be renewed, increasing the caliber and therefore improving the flow and pressure and therefore avoiding breakdowns”, explains Pedro Antonio Gómez, Entemanser’s production manager in West Tenerife.

Improvements were recently carried out in Acojeja (Vistabella and Chile streets; in La Carrera street and along Teide street) and in Chío (Las Mojas street and in Los Tomateros). The development of the investment plan to supply water also continues. desalinated on the coast and promote it to the middle of the municipality, betting on the environment and sustainability.
