SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 11. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The National Police will reinforce the specific security devices that it carries out in the leisure areas of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna at those times and places with the greatest influx of people during this coming weekend.
To this end, the devices will have the active presence of specialized units from the Citizen Security Area; the Police Intervention Unit and the Prevention and Reaction Unit.
These units are entrusted, among others, with the specific task of preventing, maintaining and restoring public order and citizen security, counting on appropriate tactics, human resources and materials.
In addition, the Operational Response Group of the National Police Station of La Laguna will also participate in the aforementioned devices, as well as the Citizen Attention Group of the National Police Stations of both cities.
The devices, whose main objective is prevention through the active presence of agents, aim to avoid disturbances of order that could result in personal or material damage.
The actions will be carried out by national police officers from the Provincial Police Station of the National Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
