Canary Islands adds 1,762 new cases and three deaths with Covid

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands note today 1,762 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19. The total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 307,429 with 14,790 active, of which 30 are admitted to the ICU and 286 remain hospitalized. ANDIn the last few hours, the death of three people has been reported in Tenerife aged between 69 and 91 years. All had previous pathologies and were hospitalized.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 418.16 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 853.01 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

for islands, Tenerife today adds 836 cases with a total of 140,882 accumulated cases and 7,345 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria it has 116,222 accumulated cases, 706 more than the previous day and 5,637 active. Lanzarote adds 38 new cases with 20,853 accumulated and 551 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura it has 15,041 accumulated cases, with 45 new cases and 296 active ones. The Palm adds 82 new positives, so it has 10,500 accumulated and 672 active. La Gomera it has 36 more new positives, so its accumulated number is 2,018 and it has 207 active cases, and The iron It adds 20 new cases, so it has 1,913 accumulated and its assets are 82. The sum of cases by islands reflects one more positive than the global calculation, by statistical adjustment of the General Directorate of Public Health.

To date, a total of 3,320,437 diagnostic tests have been carried out on the Islands, of which 6,538 correspond to yesterday.
