Agents of the National Police have arrested a 38-year-old man in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with numerous police records, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force committed last February inside a vacation rental house.
The events occurred in the early hours of February 22 in the San Andrés neighborhood when an individual, with the purpose of stealing, entered a house in the neighborhood rented by an English tourist.
The woman, hearing the noise, woke up and surprised the thief inside the building who, before fleeing through the window, seized her bag, which contained cash, various documents and her mobile phone.
The investigative procedures carried out by the National Police investigators allowed the identification of the alleged perpetrator of the events, a 38-year-old Spanish citizen with multiple police records.
The man was arrested three days later in the capital of Tenerife and, after being heard in a statement at police stations, he was placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
The actions were carried out by national police officers from the National Police Station of the Southern District of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
