Jose Suarez Sanchez (Pepe Suarez)labor advisor and one of the promoters of the Socio-Political Training School He passed away this Thursday morning at his home in The Gran Canarian palms at the age of 85.
founded the Workers Brotherhood of Catholic Action (HOAC) in the Diocese of the Canary Islands and had a prominent role in the neighborhood movement of the Canary Islands between 1975 and 1985. In addition, he was one of the founders of the Nationalist Canarian Assembly Party and the Neighborhood Assembly movement.
Married to Isabel Pérez, together with his wife he coordinated the School of Socio-Political Training and Christian Faith for more than 25 years.
Likewise, Pepe Suárez was part of the Christian Community Collective, integrated into the Coordinator of Christian Groups, Communities and Movements of the Achamán Base.
He was Army chaplain in Tenerife and a worker for the Telde City Council.
The burning chapel is installed in the San Miguel funeral home and his body will be cremated at 7:30 p.m. this Thursday, March 10.
