SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 9. (EUROPE PRESS) –

Metrotenerife activates the weekend night service on Line 1 from this Friday, so that the trams will once again operate continuously between 00:00 and 06:00 with frequencies of 20 and 30 minutes.

The island councilor for Mobility and president of Metrotenerife, Enrique Arriaga, has pointed out that given the progressive easing of restrictions due to covid, especially in restaurants and nightlife, the Line 1 trams resume circulation at dawn on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays”.

Enrique Arriaga also wanted to remind that the tram service is already operating at one hundred percent of its capacity and that the use of the mask is still mandatory in public transport.

The nights from Friday to Saturday there will be a tram every 30 minutes until 06:00 a.m. and in the early mornings from Saturday to Sunday, as well as on holidays, the frequency will be 20 minutes, from 00:00 to 01:00 a.m., and every 30 minutes until 06.00 hours. Once the night service ends, Line 1 will continue to circulate with daytime frequencies for weekends.
