As reported on Tuesday by the Civil Guard in a statement, the facts are being clarified by the Canary Islands Traffic Sector Research and Analysis Group.
The Civil Guard recalls that within the functions assigned to this group is the inspection of the theoretical knowledge tests to obtain the different driving licensesas well as checking and verifying the identity of its attendees to avoid, among other irregularities, identity theft.
Precisely on February 11, while carrying out said work, agents of the group observed that one of the persons designated to carry out said tests He went to the facilities where the exam is carried out driving his own vehicle.
After identifying the driver, he was investigated by a alleged crime against road safety when driving a motor vehicle with loss of all the points legally assigned to your driving license.
The corresponding proceedings were instructed on the facts investigated and were delivered to the Court of Instruction in Guard functions of the Judicial District of Santa Cruz of Tenerife.
The Civil Guard recalls that in accordance with the provisions of the Penal Codethe crime of driving a motor vehicle or moped with loss of all points is punishable by imprisonment from three to six months, a fine from twelve to twenty-four months, or work for the benefit of the community from 31 to 90 days .
