The Cabildo’s Highway Area focuses the rehabilitation of the pavement of the South highway this week on improving several of the links as it passes through Adeje: Costa Adeje-Torviscas-Playa de Fañabé (76), Costa Adeje-La Caleta-Fañabé ( 78), Adeje (79A) and Las Nieves-Los Olivos (79B). Some will be out of use during the works. The play will run until Friday morning, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Tonight exit 76 will be rehabilitated, so the exit lane and the one joining the junction towards Adeje and the joining lanes to the roundabout will remain closed. To access Costa Adeje, Torviscas or Playa de Fañabé in a southerly direction, you must continue to junction 78, change direction and return to Santa Cruz, until your destination. From the X-Sur Shopping Center area, they will join the highway via junction 78.
Starting at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, the works will take place at junction 78. To access Costa Adeje, Torviscas or Playa de Fañabé in a southerly direction, they will have to make a U-turn at junction 79A. From these areas and the Miraverde urbanization, they can be incorporated into the TF-1 at junction 76, as well as vehicles traveling towards the capital and seeking to enter these population centers.
During the nights of Wednesday and Thursday, links 79A and 79B will be improved, so the Los Menores-Armeñime-Playa Paraíso link (81) will be enabled to access the areas of Adeje, Las Nieves and Los Olivos. The same connection must be used by drivers who wish to join the motorway from these towns.
These works are part of the TF-1 rehabilitation plan that has been carried out since last April and which includes an execution period of approximately fourteen months.
