A man, of whom no further information is known, has drowned in a cove near Playa de San Juan, in the municipality of Guía de Isora, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1- 1-2.
The event occurred this Friday, shortly before 9:30 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing that there was a person in trouble on the aforementioned beach, for which the Cecoes activated immediately the necessary resources to intervene in the area.
A Maritime Rescue helicopter rescued the affected person and transferred him to Tenerife South Airport. There, the doctor was waiting for him from a medical helicopter from the SUC, who confirmed his death.
The Civil Guard took charge of the legal proceedings and the Local Police collaborated with the emergency services.
