SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 5. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A 30-year-old man has died in a traffic accident that occurred yesterday Friday in the municipality of Santa Úrsula, in Tenerife. Two young people aged 19 and 27 were also injured in the incident, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred around 5:15 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert reporting the overturning of a vehicle on Camino Los Morales with several people injured, so the Cecoes immediately activated emergency resources needed to intervene in the area.
A medicalized ambulance, another sanitized and a third basic life support SUC, agents of the Local Police of Santa Úrsula, members of Civil Protection and Civil Guard moved to the place.
The SUC staff evaluated and assisted all those affected and transferred them to different hospitals. The 27-year-old male presented at the initial moment of care a moderate head injury; the 19-year-old boy, moderate trauma to the shoulder and hip.
A 31-year-old girl also had to be assisted when presenting a mild anxiety crisis, and was transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Santa Úrsula Health Center.
The Local Police instructed the corresponding proceedings. The Civil Guard and Civil Protection collaborated with the emergency services.
