The Socialist Party (PSOE) of Tegueste expressed yesterday that it is committed to calling the pact table in the face of the new crisis that the local government is going through. “In response to the press release published by our government partners United for Tegueste and Sí se puede, we believe that the most correct thing is to convene a pact table in which all parties present their concerns, dialogue and reconcile the agreements that are necessary to guarantee the common good”, he pointed out.
“In previous tables of the pact, the problems that these two parties name in their press release have not been addressed and we do not understand the reason why they have chosen to make this publication without first having met,” they indicated in the face of this new clash in relations . Without going any further, Sí se puede (SSP) has already requested in 2021 the convening of the pact monitoring table in the face of the situation created around the Las Toscas gas station and to review compliance with the program.
Now, SSP and United for Tegueste-Podemos, which are part of the government group, have expressed in a statement their “concern about breaches of signed agreements”, and showed their “dissatisfaction with the way of communicating through the networks or through the official website of this City Council” and that “the work carried out is made invisible or many of our projects are attributed as their own”. And they add: «We have decided to hold an urgent meeting between the two parties to jointly analyze the current situation of the Consistory, the breaches and commitments reached at the last table of the pact, trying to unblock this situation that does not allow us to develop many projects of vital importance for the municipality and the neighbors.
“Regarding the content of said press release and referring to social networks, we show our resounding disagreement and we will ask, at the pact table, that the veracity of these accusations be shown to us,” collects the statement sent this Thursday from the Party Socialist.
